Kingston

Kingston is the port of entry for Washington State Ferries in north Kitsap Peninsula, with regular service across Puget Sound, to and from Edmonds.

Gateway to the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas, Kingston is an important point of entry and departure for local residents and visitors. Kingston is located just 9 miles from the Hood Canal Bridge on Highway 104. It has maintained the charm of a small town yet offers both residents and tourists the amenities of many restaurants, gift shops, realtors, a driving range, florists and much more.

The Point Casino, north of Kingston on Hansville Road, is the prime entertainment destination in the north Kitsap area. Gaming tables and its popular Keeper's Cove Restaurant draw crowds from around the region.

Edmonds, 20 minutes north of Seattle, embraces the Washington State Ferries terminal on the waterfront, where three beaches are designated marine life sanctuaries. Brackett's Landing Park just north of the ferry terminal is a living marine lab with tidal pools sometimes visited by sea lions who can be heard barking from the nearby jetty. Watch divers who journey from all parts of the northwest to explore Edmonds Underwater Park.

Bremerton

Bremerton is the largest city on the Kitsap Peninsula. It depends upon the daily ferry service of Washington State Ferries.

Bremerton is the home of the Kitsap County Fairgrounds, which hosts an annual fair and rodeo, as well as other important community events. The commercial center of Silverdale is north of Bremerton, where shopping centers and fast food restaurants line the streets. A small historical area hugs Dyes Inlet around the museum and park. Keyport north of Silverdale is a small navy base with a museum.
