  • Passenger Schedule between Cozumel and Playa del Carmen. Two passenger-only companies, Barcos Mexicos (987) 872-1508 and Ultramar (987) 869-2775 offer departures hourly on the hour. Trip is 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Car Ferry. Between Cozumel and mainland uses the Calica pier just south of Playa del Carmen. The company is (987) 872-0916. $80 fare. Four departures: 7, 1, 5 and 9. Schedule subject to change. Docks in Cozumel south of town near La Ceiba Hotel.
• ISLA MUJERES north of CANCUN
  • From Punta Sam. Car ferry. Runs 5 or 6 times daily. 40 minutes. Leaves at 8, 11, 2:45, 5:39 and 8:15.
  • From Puerto Juarez. Passenger ferry. Public ferries. Cheaper.
  • From Playa Linda. Passenger ferry from in Cancun at Embarcadero Pier
  • From Playa Caracol. Water Taxi (998) 886-4270 in Cancun.
• LA PAZ on BAJA
  • Matzatlan. Car ferry. 18 hours.
  • Topolobampo. (Los Mochis) Car ferry. 10 hours.
• SANTA ROSALIA on BAJA
  • Guaymas. Car ferry. 7 hours.
